Within the "STUDY VISITS" program ,graduates of the Plovdiv High School of Interior Architecture and Woodworking "Hristo Botev" have visited Technomebel and World of Furniture at the specialized exhibitions, held from 24 to 28 April at Inter Expo Center, where the students personally reviewed with leading companies from the furniture industry.
The purpose of STUDY VISITS is to educate students and teachers about novelties in the sector and to support the relationship between business and education. During the visits organized by the Branch Chamber of Woodworking and Furniture Industry (BCWFI), company representatives introduced students to the latest developments in the sector.
At the booth of GS MALMGREN INTERIORS, the students had the opportunity to meet with the chairperson of BCWFI ,Galin Gospodinov. "The furniture sector is very dynamic and the work is very interesting," he said.
During their tour, the students of the Plovdiv professional high school met the professionals from GEOS MACHINES. The company booth provided them with information about the numerous exhibited products, answering their questions. They were also introduced to the Imos interior design software. While at the booth of DRAG-5, the students could watch the operation of some of the newest and most modern machines in the furniture industry4.
On Friday, April 28th, STUDY VISITS will continue with visits by students from Velingrad, Pernik and Sliven.
